Do I need to take support from different vendors for different Dynamics 365 products?
If you are using more than one Dynamics 365 Solution such as Dynamics 365 Business Central, and Dynamics 365 Marketing then you don’t need to engage different partners if your sole partner has expertise in all or most solutions under Dynamics 365 family. Thus, it is advisable to engage an experienced partner with multi-product expertise.
Can I have licenses from a different partner, and support services from a different partner?
Yes, it can be done. Although, if possible, it is advisable to have licenses under the same partner you are getting support from.
My Dynamics 365 online solution is on a partner hosted model. Can I take support from a different partner?
Yes, you can. Although, it is best to move or host your solution on Microsoft Cloud (Azure). Dynamics Square can help with this lift, and shift exercise.
I am using an older version of Dynamics Solution. It is no longer supported by Microsoft. Can I still seek partner support in this case?
Yes, some partners (including Dynamics Square) can still support older versions of Dynamics Solution depending on their expertise, and experience. However, we’d suggest an upgrade to latest version if you are on a very old Dynamics system.
Can I have more than one support partners?
Yes. However, you shouldn’t need more than one partner if your main partner has good competency. Moreover, having more than one partner doesn’t really offer any extra benefits per se.
